Interviews

Douglas C.A.R.E.S. provides a safe and comfortable place for children to be interviewed about what has occurred to them.

 

Interviews are done by experts, in the least intrusive manner possible to keep children from having to repeat their stories. We want to avoid re-traumatizing the child.

C.A.R.E.S. interviews help law enforcement and courts assist people who have been hurt, especially children.  Everyone who needs to hear the story can be there at the same time.

 

We incorporate play and coloring, in a room that is designed and decorated to be child friendly, safe, and trauma informed.
