• Abuse assessment interviews.

  • Medical exams.

  • Family counseling and referrals on-site.

  • Assist the family and child with other community resources when appropriate.

  • Community Education.

  • Children from birth to 17 years of age who may be, or are currently at risk of being a victim of physical or sexual abuse.

  • Child victims who are required to testify in court.

  • Families in crises.
  • Referrals are normally received from Law Enforcement, Child Welfare Program, the District Attorney’s Office, the Juvenile Department, schools, healthcare providers and counselors.

  • The agency requesting services should contact C.A.R.E.S. directly for an intake appointment.
